Privacy Policy

222 of Self Inquiry
Effective Date: April 1, 2026

🙏 Your privacy matters to us. This app is designed to support your self-inquiry practice with integrity. While the core features of this app operate entirely on your device, this policy outlines the specific device permissions and features used to ensure app functionality.

1. Overview

222 of Self Inquiry ("we", "our", "the app") is a meditation and self-inquiry practice tool based on the Advaita 222 Self-Inquiry™ teachings of Rajiv Kapur. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information and device data.

2. Information We Access and Collect

The app is built to process data locally whenever possible. However, to provide core app functionalities, we request access to specific device features:

Note: We do not use your photos, location, or device identifiers for tracking, analytics profiles, or advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage and Deletion

All local practice data is stored on your device using AsyncStorage. Because this data is not synced to a cloud server, it remains fully under your control. If you uninstall the app from your device, all locally stored data, configurations, and logs will be permanently deleted.

4. Third-Party Services and SDKs

The app is built using the Expo / React Native framework and utilizes Expo Application Services (EAS). These cloud and development services are owned and operated by 650 Industries, Inc. (Expo).

5. Device Permissions and Notifications

The app requests explicit iOS permissions to access your Photo Library, Location, and to send you local notifications. These permissions are entirely optional. You can enable, disable, or modify these permissions at any time through your device's system settings or within the app's internal settings.

6. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, store, or solicit any personal information from children.

7. Links to External Websites

The app contains a link to rajivkapur.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in app functionality or App Store compliance requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

9. Your Rights and Contact Information

Since your practice data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can clear your logs at any time or erase all data by uninstalling the app.
